The David Flowers Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose:

David Flowers was a 1981 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School and a long-time resident of Madison County. He was a pastor at London Grace in London Ohio. He lost his life in a car accident on December 12, 2018.
From a young age, he felt a calling to become a pastor and teach others about the love of God. He was unable to obtain a formal degree for ministry before his untimely death.
In his memory, his family would like to offer others the opportunity to do so. Scholarship Amount: $1000.

Eligibility Rules & Requirements

  1. Planning to attend a 2 or 4 year post-secondary institution. Show a financial need. Preference for those going into a ministry field.
  2. Applicants must attend a Madison County Ohio High School.
  3. Students must submit the following:
    • Completed application, here
    • Two student evaluation forms (one preferably from a church member), here
    • Essay form, here
    • Transcript
    • The application deadline for all materials is April 10th.
